It was that fleeting hour of day when the moon and sun were high and bright at the same time. Like many things in my life, these summer nights wouldn't last much longer. I say quietly on a hammock listening to the crickets singing for love under the stars. It reminded me of that night in 1994, when I was young, free, living life to the fullest. That is when I met Julie. She was the woman who first fascinated me in the glow of the pale Luna, only to haunt me later with sleepless nights.
A gentle breeze brushed my skin, sending a chill running up my arm. Julie? Julie.
"Get out of my head," I whisper into the night.
There was a sudden stillness, followed by silence. Unsettled, I peered through the dark across the moon-bathed path.
She is here.
